Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") She is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a teenager she was involved with traditional as well as popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice has been called by no less of talented than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. In March 2022 the set was released following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance for the first time ever on the program. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a winner of the Latin Album of the Year two times, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
