Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson Both lawyers. She was moved to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and attended the Dragon School. When she was six years old, Emma was aware she was going to become an actress. For a number of years she was a student at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theatre school where she studied performing and singing. The actress had performed in a variety of Stagecoach as well as school plays before she was ten years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for the very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents via Emma's Oxford theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after 8 auditions. They were chosen to play three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film appearance came as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. It broke all records in the opening day sales as well as opening week-end take-offs and was the highest-grossing film of the year 2001.
